DocuShare 6.6.1 is due for release in July

Details to follow. DocuShare 7 will be a major release expected within a year. Again, no projected features list, but focus is said to be on scalability, lifecycle management, and business process management. If you need better lifecycle management today, consider our DocuShare Archive Assistant.

DocuShare Archive Assistant 1.3 release

Archiving your documents in digital format can save your organization significant time and money. Set expiration and deletion dates to facilitate better archival practices. Documents are easier and quicker to find and there are no long-term warehouse storage needs and eventual physical document destruction expenses - just delete them. You don't need an archive server to benefit from our DocuShare Archive Assistant, just use it to tag the dates for deleting your documents without going through the archival phase.

While you're at it, see if you're familiar with the workstation that changed the way we interact with computers, file and print servers, LANs and WANs, and ultimately each other.  I'd worked on these soon after starting with Xerox may years ago.  The Xerox 6085 was the successor to the Star workstation.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xerox_Star
